How to keep your readers coming back for more? |
|
|
|
There are some basic reasons why readers subscribe to a newsletter. The first and foremost is they want quality content on a subject that appeals to them. This is the reason they joined in the first place. Just keep that in mind when you are writing your next issue or making recommendations or even when placing ads in your newsletter.
Let your personality shine
through, you can make an “Editor’s Notes” section and tell your readers about
yourself and you can also included a picture. Tell them about what makes you
happy and makes you upset. Invite them to respond to your comments; this
interaction will benefit both of you.
Everyday more and more
newsletters are being published, on all types of subjects. Keep in mind that
your competitors are only 2 “clicks” away: One click to unsubscribe to your
newsletter and one click to subscribe to theirs. So be sure you listen to your reader’s
comments and concerns and write high quality articles to keep them coming back
for more.
